Erwin P. Kasten

A funeral will be held Tuesday, February 13th, 2001 for 85-year-old Erwin P. Kasten of Uniontown who died Sunday, February 11th at the Missouri Veterans' Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born December 17th, 1915 in Uniontown, the son of Arthur and Agnes (Telle) Kasten who both preceded in death.

Nieces and nephews survive him.

One brother, Elmer Kasten, and one sister, Wilma Schuessler, both of Perryville, also survive him.

One sister in law survives, Sally Kasten of St. Louis.

Three brothers also preceded him in death.

He was a farmer, agriculture and livestock.

He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown, was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the American Legion Post No. 133, Veterans of Foreign Wars in Perryville and Cape Girardeau, AmVets and Disabled American Veterans.

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, February 13th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 85-year-old Erwin P. Kasten of Uniontown will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 13th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Grace Lutheran Church cemetery in Uniontown with military graveside service provided by the American Legion Post No. 133.

Memorials are preferred to the Veterans' home.
