Doris L. Fritsche She was born January 21st, 1922 in Farrar, the daughter of Gottlieb M. Verseman and Martha K. Mangels Verseman, both preceded in death. She married Elmer O. Fritsche on June 24th, 1945. He also preceded in death. She is survived by a daughter: Margaret Fritsche of Perryville and a son and daughter-in-law: Charles and Sue Fritsche of Frohna. She is also survived by two sisters: Lydia Eggers of Perryville and Frances Bruss of Brentwood. Three grandchildren also survive. She was also preceded in death by a brother and five sisters. She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar, Ladies Aid, Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, Lutheran Family and Children Services, Perry County ARC and Salem Senior Servants. Visitation will be from 5:30 – 9 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20th and again on Wednesday, February 21st from 6:30 – 8:30 a.m. at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A funeral for 79-year-old Doris L. Fritsche of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 21st at the Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Schneider will officiate. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, or to the Salem Lutheran Church or School.
