A funeral will be held Tuesday, January 2nd, 2001 for 83-year-old Elaine L. Buerck of Perryville, who died Friday, December 29th, 2000 at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born January 10, 1917 in Perry County, the daughter of Emil Huber and Emma Sutterer Huber who both preceded in death.

She married Kenrick Buerck on September 23rd, 1941 in Perryville. He preceded in death.

Four sons survive her: David, Melvin, Lynn and Paul Buerck, all of Perryville.

Two daughters survive, Irene Sheerin of Shawnee, Kansas and Doreen David of Maryland Heights.

One brother survives, Lincoln Buerck of Perryville.

Five sisters and four brothers also preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and past member of the Ladies Sodality of Belgique. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Visitation will be Monday, January 1st from 4-9 p.m. at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish wake will be held at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be from 6:30-9:50 a.m. Tuesday, January 2nd. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.

A funeral for 83-year-old Elaine L. Buerck of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 2nd at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Perryville. The Rev. Kevin P. Fausz C.M. will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent school system or to Parkinson's Disease research.
