Ravin "Don" Hendrix

A funeral will be held Wednesday, January 10th, 2001 for 62-year-old Ravin "Don" Hendrix of Perryville, who died Saturday, January 6th at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis.

He was born July 24th, 1938 in Perry County, the son of the late Andrew T. and Hester D. (Edmond) Hendrix who survives in Perryville.

He married Dorothy Kline on November 5th, 1960. She survives in Perryville.

Also surviving are two sons and one daughter in law: Steven D. Hendrix of Hillsboro and Ravin W. and Mary Hendrix of Dittmer.

Two brothers also survive him: Glenn Hendrix of the state of Maine and Raymond Hendrix of Perryville.

Four sisters survive: Judy Pittman of Perryville; Janice Worley of Wappapello; Rita Robb of Lebanon, Illinois; and Faye Norman of the state of Maryland.

One grandchild also survives.

A brother and two sisters also preceded him in death.

He was an autoworker, retired from the Chrysler Corporation plant in Fenton.

He was president of the River Hills Eagles Aerie No. 4034 since 1984 and was a member of the United Auto Workers Local No. 136 in Fenton.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 9th from 4-9 p.m. and Wednesday, January 10th from 6:30-11 a.m. at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 62-year-old Ravin "Don" Hendrix of Perryville will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 10th at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. Burial will be in the Whitewater Christian Cemetery. The Rev. Keith McCrary will officiate.
