Gladys M. Bohnert A funeral will be held Tuesday, July 10th, 2001 for 88-year-old Glady M. Bohnert of Perryville who died Friday, July 6th at Perry County Nursing Home. She was born September 6th, 1912 in Perry County, the daughter of James F. Duvall and Emma L. Nations Duvall who both preceded her in death. She married Clarence J. Mattingly on September 12th, 1939. He preceded her in death. She married Sylvester Bohnert on May 30th, 1995. He survives. She is also survived by two sons and daughters in law: David P. and Joan Mattingly of Union and Darwin J. and Lauren Mattingly of Brewer. One daughter and son in law survives: Ruth Ann and Leo Mueller of Villa Ridge. One stepson and his wife survive: Michael J. and Judy Bohnert of Perryville. One stepdaughter and her husband survive: Rose Mary and Harold Ruesler of Jackson. One sister in law survives: Mickey Duvall of Perryville. Four nieces also survive her: Donna, Peggy, Judy and Patty. Ten grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, seven step grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren also survive. Two sisters and a brother also preceded her in death. She had retired after teaching elementary school for 32 years. She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Daughters of Isabella, Ladies of Charity, Alpha Delta Kappa, Retired Teachers, Ministry of Praise and she was a volunteer at Perry County Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. this (Monday, July 9th) evening and from 6:30-9:50 a.m. Tuesday, July 10th, at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish wake service will be held at 7 this evening and the rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 10th at the funeral home. A funeral for 88-year-old Gladys M. Bohnert of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 10th at the St. Vincent de Paul Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin P. Fausz C.M. will officiate. Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul School System.
