A funeral service will be held Monday, March 19th, 2001 for 92-year-old Alfred E. Kaempfe of Farrar, who died Thursday, March 15th at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born April 13th, 1908 in Farrar, the son of the late Wilhelm and Anna Mangels Kaempfe.

He married the late Esther Koenig on November 15th, 1936.

He is survived by a daughter, Margaret Weber of Perryville, two sons, Dennis Kaempfe of Perryville and William Paul Kaempfe of Frohna.

Thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive.

He was also preceded in death by a son, a sister and two brothers.

He was a retired farmer and a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. on Sunday, March 18th and from 6:30-8 a.m. on Monday, March 19th at the Young and Sons Chapel.

A funeral for 92-year-old Alfred E. Kaempfe of Farrar will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 19th at the Salem Lutheran Church with Reverend Robert Schneider officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Hour or to a charity of your choice.
