Ralph R. Clements A funeral will be held Thursday, March 22nd, 2001 for 67-year-old Ralph R. Clements of Friedheim, formerly of Perryville, who died Monday, March 19th at St. Francis Medical Center. He was born September 2nd, 1933 in Hilderbrand, the son of William and Lena (Ruch) Clements who both preceded in death. He married Reta P. Rhyne on June 4th, 1988. She survives in Friedheim. A daughter, Mary Sue Clements of Cape Girardeau and a son, Ralph Phillip Clements of Perryville, also survives him. Two stepdaughters survive: Mary Spense of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Carla Helm of Perryville. Two stepsons survive: Roger Fadler of Friedheim and John Fadler of Cape Girardeau. Five brothers survive: Raymond, Elmer and Gilbert Clements, all of Jackson; Edward Clements of Malvern, Arkansas and Sylvester Clements of Lake Charles, Louisiana. One sister survives: Hilda Zoellner of Longtown. One brother and two sisters also preceded him in death. He was a retired from the U.S. after serving 20 years in the U.S. Army in Germany, Panama, Vietnam and numerous other overseas stations. He was past commander of the Perryville Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and VFW. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 21st, from 4-9 p.m. and Thursday, March 22nd from 6:30-10 a.m. at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A funeral for Ralph R. Clements of Jackson, formerly of Perryville, will be held on Thursday, March 22nd, at 10 a.m. at the Young and Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson with the military honors provided by the Cape Girardeau National Guard unit. The Rev. Thomas Bass will officiate.
