Richard G. Bollinger

A funeral will be held Monday, May 14th, 2001 for 93-year-old Richard G. Bollinger of Perryville who died Friday, May 11th at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born March 7, 1908 in Cape Girardeau County, the son of Pearl and Emma (Penny) Bollinger who preceded him in death.

He married Leatha L. Seabaugh on November 19th, 1931. She preceded him in death.

He is survived by two daughters and two sons in law: Sandy and Jerry Davis of Perryville and Judy and Rick Buchheit of Bryan, Texas.

He is also survived by one brother and two sisters: Roy Bollinger of Jackson, Zelma Statler of Perryville, and Jean Conrad and Jewel Ellis, both of Sedgewickville.

Seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren survive.

He had worked for the International Shoe Company for 40 years and for Davis Farm Supply for 29 years.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Perryville.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 13th from 5-9 p.m. and Monday, May 14th from 6:30-10:30 a.m. at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral service for 93-year-old Richard G. Bollinger of Perryville will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 14th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Home Cemetery. The Rev. Gerald McBride will officiate.

Memorials are preferred to the First Baptist Church Building Fund or the Perry County Nursing Home Tree Fund.
