Funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001 for 62-year-old Harry H. Brown of Perryville who died Tuesday at PerryOaks Manor.

He was born on Jan. 8, 1939 in Perry County, the son of the late James Mathew and Chlola Clodean (Brown) McCarthy.

He was married to Judith Hunt in 1961.

He married Norma Dewecs on Nov. 3, 1984. She preceded him in death on April 23, 1997.

Two sons survive, Mark S. Brown of Bloomsdale, and Robert H. Brown of Perryville.

Two step daughters survive, Norma Gail Oneal of Illinois and Tracy L. Kluender of Perryville.

One sister and two brothers survive, Betty Steele of Perryville; Mike McCarthy of Fredericktown; and James McCarthy of Florida.

Also surviving are two grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one step-grandchild.

Mr. Brown was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 23 from 4-9 p.m. and on Saturday, Nov. 24 from 6:30-10:00 a.m. at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Harry H. Brown will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001 at 10 a.m. at Young and Sons Chapel. Rev. Francis Agnew CM will officiate. Burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Memorial preference is to Parkinsosn or Alzheimers Association.
