Dwight D. Deimund A funeral will be held Saturday, October 6th, 2001 for 52-year-old Dwight D. Deimund, formerly of Perryville, who died Monday, October 1st in Mt. Pleasant, IA. He was born January 4th, 1949 in Cape Girardeau, the son of the late Oscar Deimund and Alma (Sadler) Deimund. His mother survives in Perryville. He is also survived by three sisters and brothers in law: Carol and Eldon Kaufmann of Perryville; Diana and Robert Nations of Perryville and Cynthia and Lanny Nash of Salem. He is also survived by two step sisters and one step brother in law: Rebecca Camp of Tuscon, AZ and Sue and Bernie Eskesen of Hendersonville, TN. Nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive. He was a truck driver for North American Van Lines. He was also a member of the Lutheran Faith and a Vietnam Veteran. Visitation will be Friday, October 5th from 4-9 p.m. and on Saturday, October 6th from 6:30-9:30 a.m. at Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A funeral for 52-year-old Dwight D. Deimund, formerly of Perryville, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 6th at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery with a Military Graveside Service by American Legion Post 133. The Reverend Craig Otto will officiate. Memorials may be made to Family Use or the Immanuel Lutheran Chancel Guild.
