David G. Beeson A funeral service was held Saturday, October 13th, 2001 for Perryville City Attorney David Beeson who died Wednesday, October 10th at the age of 54 at the St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View. He was born November 1st, 1946 in Perryville, the son of the late Don and Muriel Huber Beeson who survives. He married Diana Eddleman on August 31st, 1968, she survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Jessica Beeson and Alexandria Beeson. Two brothers and two sisters also survive. Beeson served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, earning a Purple Heart. He graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1969, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha. In 1973, he graduated from Memphis State Law School. He practiced 27 years in the law firm of Buerkle, Beeson, Ludwig, Jackson and Boner of Jackson. He was currently serving as city attorney in Jackson and Perryville. He was past president and board member for Brehm Preparatory School for the learning disabled in Carbondale, Illinois. He also was past president of the Cape County Bar Association. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Memorials may be made to the Brehm Preparatory School, 1245 East Grand Avenue in Carbondale, Illinois, 62901.
