A funeral will be held Tuesday, September 18th, 2001 for 66-year-old Dorothy L. Jenkins of Cahokia, Illinois who died Saturday, September 15th at Belleville Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois.

She was born June 20th, 1935 in Biehle, the daughter of Christian Buchheit and Teresia Schloss who both preceded her in death.

She married Floyd L. Jenkins in Perryville in February 1956. He preceded her in death.

Two sons and daughters in law survive her: Gary and Karen Jenkins of Cahokia, Illinois and Terry and Gwin Jenkins of Troy, Illinois.

One daughter and son in law survives: Sheri and Mark Bell of Cahokia, Illinois.

One brother survives: William Buchheit of Cahokia, Illinois.

One sister survives: Florentina Hagan of Perryville.

Seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive her.

A sister, Delores Buchheit, also preceded her in death.

She was a shoe fitter.

Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today (Monday, September 17th) at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 18th at the Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in the Crestlawn Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. James Schaefer will officiate.
