E. A. "Buck" Buchanan

Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2002 for 78-year-old E. A. "Buck" Buchanan of Perryville who died Wednesday, April 10 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born on September 6, 1923 in Leeper, Mo., the son of the late Andrew Jackson and Arizona (Sanders) Buchanan.

He was married to Glendelea Clyburn on Nov. 1, 1947. She survives in Perryville.

Two sons and daughters-in-law survive, Duane and Gini Buchanan of Potosi, and Mike and Irene Buchanan of Memphis, Tenn.

One sister-in-law, Lauretta Buchanan, survives in Alton, Ill.

Also surviving are four grandchildren.

He was a member of the Methodist faith, a WWII Army Veteran, past member of VFW in Kennett, past Boy Scout Master, member of Perryville Optimists and Perry County Wildlife Chapter. He was a retired agent of the Missouri Department of Conservation.

Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

Visitation will be Friday, April 12 from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from 6:30-10:00 a.m. at Young and Sons Chapel.

Funeral service for E.A. "Buck" Buchanan will be held Saturday, April 13, 2002 at 10 a.m. at Young and Sons Chapel. Burial will be in the Home Cemetery.

Memorial preference is to the Missouri Conservation Agents Association Scholarship Fund or charity of choice.
