Oscar B. (Doc) Clements

Funeral service will be held Friday, April 26, 2002 for 70-year-old Oscar B. (Doc) Clements who died Tuesday, April 23 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born on Nov. 8, 1922 in Biehle, the son of the late Louis Clements and Eleizabeth Werth Clements.

He was married to Cornelia Hennemann on June 10, 1950. She survives in Perryville.

One daughter, Patsy Brewer, survives in Perryville.

Two brothers and one sister survive, Wilbert Clements and Kelly Clements of Biehle; and Mae Propst of Sedgewickville.

Also surviving are three grandchildren, Nikki Schremp, Angie Mezo and Andy Brewer. One great-grandson survives, Trevor Brewer.

Three brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.

Mr. Clements was retired from Mississippi Lime Company where he was an electric welder. He was a World War II Veteran, a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 3rd Degree K of C, V.F.W., American Legion, Amvets, Holy Name Society.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 25 from 4-9:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 25 at the Miller Family Funeral Home. Amvets service at 6:30 p.m, parish wake service at 6 p.m., VFW service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will also be from 6:30-9:50 a.m. on Friday, April 26, with the Rosary recited at 9:00 a.m.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 26 at St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Perryville. Rev. Kevin P. Fausz, C.M. will officiate.

Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
