U. Sherman Hahn

A funeral will be held Sunday, December 15th, 2002 for 78-year-old U. Sherman Hahn of Arnold, formerly of Yount, who died Thursday, December 12th in Arnold.

He was born November 7th, 1924 in Yount, the son of Joseph Franklin and Mattie (Cones) Hahn who both preceded him in death.

He married Wanda Fay French on December 16th, 1944. She preceded him in death.

He married Jackie.

He is survived by two sons and daughters in law: Arthur and Pam Hahn of Barnhart and Ron and Karin Hahn of Arnold.

He is also survived by two daughters and sons in law: Sharon and Ray Presnell of Arnold and Ellen and Jeffrey Dunman of Village Ridge.

He is also survived by one sister in law, Una Hahn of Sedgewickville.

Seven grandchildren survive.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Denver Hahn and three sisters, Bula Eucas, Zella Goldsmith and Mae Heaps.

He was a retired auto mechanic for Lindbergh Cadillac in St. Louis.

He was U.S. Army 11th Airborne Division veteran of World War II, a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Arnold, a member of Machinist Local No. 777, and VFW Post 4282 in Perryville.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 78-year-old U. Sherman Hahn of Arnold will be held Sunday, December 15th at 2 p.m. at the Young and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Perryville. Burial will be at the Whitewater Christian Cemetery. Military graveside service by the American Legion Post No. 133 in Perryville.
