Funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 28, 2002 for 90-year-old Leo E. Danz of Perryville who died Wednesday, Dec. 25 at Independence Court in Perryville.

He was born on Nov. 29, 1912 in Perry County, the son of Theodore Danz and Julia Dambach Danz.

He was married to Bernice A. Cissell on Aug. 22, 1942. She survives in Perryville.

Also surviving are two sons, Terry E. Danze of Perryville, and Richarld L. Danz of Eureka. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Sarah Hansen and Jennifer Danz, both of Perryville.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edgar and Bill, and two sisters, Nora and Augusta.

Mr. Danz had worked at International Shoe Company.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and was an American Legion Booster.

Visitation will be from 4:00-9:00 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27 at the Miller Family Funeral Home. Visitation will also be Saturday, Dec. 28 at Immanuel Lutheran Church from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

Funeral service for Leo E. Danz will be held Saturday, Dec. 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. Rev. Craig Otto will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.

The family requests memorials be sent to Immanuel Lutheran School.
