Barbara Ramseger Collins

A private funeral will be held for 78-year-old Barbara Ramseger Collins who died Sunday, February 10th, 2002 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born January 4th, 1924 in Mount Vernon, Illinois, the daughter of Ross M. Ramseger and Dorothy Thompson Ramseger, who both preceded her in death.

She married Paul Collins on September 1st, 1962 in Centerville, Illinois. He survives in Perryville.

Two sons also survive her: Roger Collins of Perryville and Dannie Collins of Long Point, Illinois.

One daughter, Carolyn Dixon of Perryville, also survives.

Several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive her.

Two sons, Michael Strope and Charles Strope, also preceded her in death.

She was a licensed practical nurse and worked in nursing until her retirement.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, February 13th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

The funeral and burial will be private.
