Karl Beeson

A funeral will be held Wednesday, February 20th, 2002 for 90-year-old Karl Beeson of Perryville who died Monday, February 18th at the Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born March 18th, 1911 in Crawford County, Illinois, the son of Walter Clyde and Lucinda Beeson who both preceded him in death.

He married Cloe Beeson. She preceded him in death.

He married Ioma King in June 1978. She preceded him in death.

He married Louise Halfly on October 26th, 1996. She survives in Perryville.

He also survived by one son, Ed Beeson of St. Charles.

One stepdaughter, Jari Bollinger of Perryville also survives.

Many other stepchildren also survive.

Grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive him.

Four brothers, Lawrence, Clive, Paul and Perry and two sisters, Audrey McNico and Virginia Beeson, also preceded him in death.

He was a construction ironworker and member of Local No. 396 in St. Louis.

He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and a World War II Army veteran.

A funeral for 90-year-old Karl Beeson of Perryville will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 20th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Home Cemetery. Harold Althen will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
