Estella M. Grindstaff

A funeral will be held Tuesday, January 22nd, 2002 for 91-year-old Estella M. Grindstaff of Perryville who died Friday, January 18th at Perry Oaks Manor in Perryville.

She was born November 5th, 1910 in Bollinger County, the daughter of Ferdinand and Anna Belle (Barks) Ruessler, who both preceded her in death.

She married James T. Grindstaff on September 23rd, 1928. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son, James E. Grindstaff of Perryville, and two daughters, Anna Kennon of St. Louis and Edna Manner of St. Peters.

Three sisters survive: Ruby Wilfong of Patton and Viola Winkler and Edna Ponder, both of Perryville.

Twelve grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren also survive.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Lou Kennon, two brothers, four sisters, three grandsons: Randy Manner, Donald Manner and Michael Grindstaff and one great grandson: Jason.

She was a retired nurses aide at the American Care Nursing Home.

Visitation will be this (Monday, January 21st) afternoon and evening from 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday, January 22nd, from 6:30-9:30 a.m. at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 91-year-old Estella M. Grindstaff of Perryville will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 22nd at the United Methodist Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Post Oak Cemetery. The Rev. Michael Kelpe will officiate.
