Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2002 for 86-year-old Fred W. Baue, Sr. of St. Louis who died Monday, June 10 at Bethesda Dilworth Nursing Home in Kirkwood, Mo.

He was born on Oct. 14, 1915 in Campbell Hill, Ill, the son of the late Frederic H. and Wilhelmina Baue.

He was married to Alma Baue. She preceded him in death.

Two sons and one daughter, Rev. Dr. Frederick W. Baue of Glendale, MO.; survive him; Kurt F. Baue of St. Charles; and Jane Maddox of Valparaiso, Ind.

Seven grandchildren also survive.

Four brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Lions Club of Perry County. He served in the U.S. Navy from Dec. 17, 1940 to October 8, 1945.

Visitation will be at the Baue Funeral home in St. Charles on Friday, June 14 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Funeral service for Fred W. Baue Sr. will be at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna on Saturday, June 15 at 1:00 p.m. Friends may call at the church between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville with military graveside service provided by American Legion Post 133. Rev. Wayne Palmer will officiate.

Memorial preference is to the Immanuel Lutheran School Scholarship Fund.
