Robert J. (Bob) Hampson A funeral was held Monday, June 24th, 2002 for 21-year-old Robert J. (Bob) Hampson of Silver Lake, who died from injuries sustained in an auto accident on Friday, June 21st. He was born June 19th, 1981 in Ste. Genevieve, the son of John R. Hampson and Mary A. Riney Hampson. They both survive. He is also survived by a brother, Daniel J. Hampson; two sisters, Laura M. Hampson and Sara L. Hampson, all of Silver Lake. His maternal grandparents survive, Kenneth and Leona Riney of Perryville and his paternal grandmother, Mary L. Hampson of Silver Lake. Also surviving are the following aunts and uncles, Debbie and Tom McFarland; Norma and Darrell Jannin; Keith and Tammy Riney; Ken Leroy and Nancy Riney; Regina and Mike Hampson and Jim and Mary Riney. Cousins who survive are, Kevin and Jennifer Otte; Nathin McFarland; Amy McFarland; Neil Jannin; Kristen Jannin; Marc Jannin; Michael Riney; Ashley Riney; Scott Riney; Brett Riney; Leeann Riney; Calvin Riney; Becky Hampson; Michael Hampson; Candy Hampson; Scott Riney; Michelle Riney and Joey Riney. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather. He was graduated from Perryville High School in 1999 and was a Boilermaker. He loved fishing. He was also a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Silver Lake. A funeral mass for 21-year-old Robert J. (Bob) Hampson of Silver Lake was held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 24th at the St. Rose of Lima Church in Silver Lake. Burial was in the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery with the Reverend Alphonse Hoernig, CM officiating. Miller Family Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
