A funeral will be held Monday, June 3rd, 2002 for 78-year-old Bertha Addie Buehler of Perryville who died Thursday, May 30th at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 30th, 1924 in Wittenberg, the daughter of William Davis who preceded her in death and Hilda (Bohnert) Davis who survives in Perryville.

She married Hosea Cairns Sr. on May 22nd, 1942. He preceded her in death.

She married Joseph Buehler on September 16th, 1961. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by four sons and daughters in law: William and Linda Cairns of Perryville, Donald and Sharon Cairns of Friedheim, Charles and Jane Cairns of Perryville and Terry and Barb Buehler of Perryville.

She is also survived by five daughters and three sons in law: Donna and Wilson Heise of Whitewater, Bonnie and Dennis Starr of Centralia, Illinois; Mary Hornberger of Perryville; Helen Gwin of Oak Ridge; and Patricia and Dale Mattingly of Perryville.

One brother survives: Earl Davis of Perryville.

Two sisters survive: Dorothy Renner and Buelah Weisbrod, both of Perryville.

She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Hosea Cairns Jr.; one brother, Ernst Davis; and one sister, Marie Clements.

She was a home maker and member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Sunday, June 2nd and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Monday, June 3rd at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. A Catholic wake will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

A funeral mass for 78-year-old Bertha Addie Buehler of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 3rd at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Williams, C.M., will officiate.
