Alma B. Geringer A funeral will be held Friday, November 8th, 2002 for 78-year-old Alma B. Geringer of Biehle who died Tuesday, November 5th at her residence. She was born December 13th, 1923 in Perry County, the daughter of Frank and Bertha (Schott) Wingerter who both preceded her in death. She married Nelbert H. Geringer on May 17th, 1945. He survives in Biehle. She is also survived by one daughter and a son in law, JoAnn and Pete Lukefahr of Perryville. She is also survived by two sons and two daughters in law, Neil and Bonnie Geringer of Perryville and Kevin and Linda Geringer of St. Louis. She is also survived by one sister and brother in law, Mildred and August Schott of Jackson. She is also survived by three brothers and four sisters in law, Milton and Marilyn Wingerter of Maryland Heights and Lloyd and Velma Wingerter, Merlin and Dorothy Wingerter and Irene Wingerter, all of Perryville. Seven grandchildren survive: Dana Triller and her husband Charlie, Renee Schamburg and her husband Chris, Ryan Geringer and Derek Geringer, all of Perryville, and Taylor Geringer, Sarah Leard and Jennifer Leard, all of St. Louis. She is also survived by four great grandchildren, Kristen and Faith Triller and Brett and Blake Schamburg, all of Perryville. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Elmer Wingerter. She was employed at the International Shoe Company and was a cook at the St. Maurus Catholic School in Biehle. She was a member of the St. Maurus Catholic Church and St. Ann Sodality in Biehle. She also loved being with her family and quilting. Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Thursday, November 7th and 6:30-9:20 a.m. Friday, November 8th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A Catholic wake will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A funeral for 78-year-old Alma B. Geringer of Biehle will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 8th at the St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Mark Bozada will officiate. Memorials may be made to family use.
