Willard C. Bergman A funeral will be held Wednesday, November 27th, 2002 for 83-year-old Willard C. Bergman of Perryville who died Sunday, November 24th at Perry Oaks Manor in Perryville. He was born September 11th, 1919 in Friedenberg, the son of Carl and Oneida (Ochs) Bergman who both preceded him in death. He married Thelma Springer on January 3rd, 1943. She preceded him in death. He is survived by one don and daughter in law, Roger and Connie Bergman of Perryville. He is also survived by two brothers, Carl Bergman of St. Louis and Kenneth Bergman of Perryville. A brother in law, four sisters in law, nieces and nephews also survive. He is also survived by a grandchild. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen and a sister, Leila Dickinson. He was a livestock and grain farmer and a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. He held various offices at the Immanuel Lutheran Church and Friedenberg Lutheran Church, he was a past member of the Immanuel Men's Club, Perryville dart ball team, Longtown Public School board, and director of the Perry County CO-OP and Missouri Farm Bureau. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 27th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home. A funeral for 83-year-old Willard C. Bergman of Perryville will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 27th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville. The Rev. Craig Otto will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Immanuel radio broadcast, Immanuel Cemetery or Friedenberg Historical Society.
