Ethel C. Baer
She was born on June 6, 1911 in Perry County, the daughter of the late Leon and Mary Sutterer Hoffman. She was married to Henry Baer on April 5, 1932. He preceded her in death on April 22, 1981. One daughter, Virginia Lohmann, survives in Perryville. Two sisters, Lucille Hayden and Eileen Cattoor, survive in Perryville. Also surviving are four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Four brothers, two sisters and one great granddaughter preceded her in death. Mrs. Baer had been a homemaker. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and also the Ladies Sodality. Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 13 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish wake will be at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also be from 6:30-9:50 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14. The rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Funeral Mass for Ethel C. Baer will be held Monday, Oct. 14, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Kevin P. Fausz will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The family requests memorials be sent to Masses or the St. Vincent de Paul Capital Campaign.
