A funeral will be held Monday, October 21st, 2002 for 93-year-old Jettie M. Buchheit of Cleburne, TX, formerly of Apple Creek, who died Wednesday, October 16th, 2002 in Burleson, TX.

She was born April 27th, 1909 in Perry County, the daughter of Lewis and Ella (Michaels) Hinkle, who both preceded her in death.

She married Barney Buchheit in April of 1925. He also preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Oscar and Dorothy Buchheit of House Springs; Leroy and Sherrie Buchheit of Seagoville, TX and Ralph and Linda Buchheit of Spokane, WA.

Five daughters and three sons-in-law also survive: Dorothy and Nelson Coomer of Cleburne, TX; Valerie and Leonard Nations of St. Louis; Alice and Ed Kline of Festus; Lucille Buchheit of Carlyle, IL and Thelma Hotop of Jackson.

Numerous grandchildren also survive.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara McCombs, a brother, Freddie Hinkle, a sister, Hazel Killian and three grandchildren.

She was a cook at Southeast Missouri State University and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cleburne, TX and a former member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday, October 20th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville with a Catholic Wake Service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation continues Monday from 6:30-9:15 a.m. at the funeral home.

A funeral mass for 93-year-old Jettie M. Buchheit will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 20th at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery with Monsignor Richard Buchheit officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
