Wilmer V. DuBois A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 17th, 2002 for 73-year-old Wilmer V. DuBois of Perryville who died Friday, September 13th at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born February 24th, 1929 in Perry County, the son of Leo V. and Magdalene Mary (Weber) DuBois who both preceded him in death. He married Esther May Graff on September 1, 1956. She survives in Perryville. He is also survived by four daughters and sons in law: Mary and Roger Blandford of Perryville, Cynthia and Michael Mulhall of Marshall, Renee and Tony Schneier of Perryville and Terry Dubois and Larry Derringer of Rockwood, Illinois. Two sisters survive: Vivian Huber and Janet Moore, both of Perryville. One brother survives: Wayne DuBois of Perryville. Eight grandchildren also survive him. One brother, Chalmer, and a grandchild also preceded him in death. He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, was a third degree Knight of Columbus, an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a meat cutter and a member of Retail Union Local No. 655 in St. Louis. Visitation will be 4:30-9 this (Monday, September 16th) afternoon and evening and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 17th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish and Knights of Columbus wake will be held this (Monday, September 16th) evening at 7 p.m. and the rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 17th, at the funeral home. A funeral for 73-year-old Wilmer V. DuBois of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 17th, at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Fausz, C.M., will officiate. Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
