Emma E. Emmendorfer

A funeral will be held Saturday, December 13th, 2003 for 86-year-old Emma E. Emmendorfer of Perryville who died Tuesday, December 9th at Perry Oaks Manor.

She was born March 20, 1917 in Perry County, the daughter of Alphonse and Mary Evelyn Mattingly Weisler who both preceded her in death.

She married Valle Andrew Emmendorfer in 1948 in Perryville. He preceded her in death on April 17th, 1986.

Survivors include: one son, David Emmendorfer of Jefferson City; one daughter, Ottolene Hayden of Longtown; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Five brothers also preceded her in death.

She was a fancy stitcher, retiring from the International Shoe Factory.

She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Ladies of Charity.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Friday, December 12th and 6:30-9:50 a.m. Saturday, December 13th at the Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be held at 7 p.m. Friday and the rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

A funeral mass for 86-year-old Emma E. Emmendorfer of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 13th at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
