Loretta R. Bohnert

A funeral will be held Monday, December 15th, 2003 for 79-year-old Loretta R. Bohnert of Perryville, who died Friday, December 12th at Missouri Baptist Hospital.

She was born March 30th, 1924 in Perryville, the daughter of Harry and Hilda (Holtermann) Tackaberry, who both preceded her in death.

She married Melbourne Bohnert Sr. on May 2nd, 1942. He survives in Perryville.

Survivors also include: two sons, Melbourne "Bud" Bohnert Jr. and Craig Bohnert, both of Perryville; six daughters, Mary Ann Weibrecht and Nancy Ochs, both of Perryville, Pam Lowry of Jackson, Sharon DuBois of Nevada, Vicki Sue Covington of Roanoke, Virginia; and Jean Friedrich of St. Louis; two sisters, Marie Young and Leona Boyer, both of Perryville; one brother, Harry "Mickey" Tackaberry of Perryville; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was a homemaker and member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, the Perry County Sportsmen Club and the Berean Bible Class.

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Monday, December 15th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 79-year-old Loretta R. Bohnert of Perryville will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 15th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery. The Rev. Craig Otto will officiate.

Memorials may be made to abused children.
