Charles H. Anderson

A funeral will be held Wednesday, February 5th, 2003 for 88-year-old Charles H. Anderson of Perryville who died Sunday, February 2nd at the Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born February 4th, 1914 in Perry County, the son of Elliott and Rose (Yeager) Anderson, who both preceded him in death.

He married Merida F. Elder on July 6th, 1934. She preceded him in death.

One daughter, Elizabeth "Betty" Larose of O’Fallon, survives him.

One sister, Helen Thompson of Perryville, and two brothers, Thomas Anderson of Little Rock, Arkansas and Joseph Anderson of Pontiac, Michigan, also survive.

Seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren also survive.

A daughter, Joyce Wibbenmeyer, also preceded him in death.

He was retired from the Perryville Cheese Company.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Tuesday, February 4th, and 6:30-11:15 a.m. Wednesday, February 5th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish wake will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

A funeral for 88-year-old Charles H. Anderson of Perryville will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 5th at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate.
