Hilda S. Buchheit

A funeral will be held Saturday, Feb. 8th, 2003 for 89-year-old Hilda S. Buchheit, who died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003 at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born April 16th, 1913 in Longtown, the daughter of the late Louis Leible and Theresa Unterreiner.

She married Isidore W. Buchheit on November 5th, 1935 at Apple Creek. He also preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons, Glennon Buchheit of Perryville and Stanley Buchheit of Ste. Genevieve; four daughters, Eleanor Unterreiner; Placida "Penny" Ruessler and Rosella Bohnert, all of Perryville and Marcella Renner of Arnold.

Three sisters also survive. They are Leola Funke of Longtown; Flora Berkbuegler and Rose Renner, both of Perryville.

Eighteen grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren survive as well.

A sister, a brother and a grandson also preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker, a member of St. Joseph Parish at Apple Creek and a member of the Ladies Sodality.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville with a Parish Wake Service at 6 p.m. Visitation will also be from 6:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8th with the Rosary recited at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.

A funeral service for 89-year-old Hilda S. Buchheit will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8th at the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Apple Creek. Burial will be in the St. Michael's Cemetery at Apple Creek.

Memorials may be sent to donor's choice or to Southeast Hospice.
