A funeral was held yesterday, February 23, 2003 for 91-year-old Clodine A. Doernhoefer of Perryville who died Friday, February 21st at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born November 29th, 1911 in Sedgewickville, the daughter of Ora and Minnie (Statler) Hahs who both preceded her in death.

She married Gilbert M. Doernhoefer on May 19, 1934. He preceded her in death on November 25, 1981.

One daughter and her husband, Joan and Glen Brinkman of Cape Girardeau and one son and his wife, John and Kathy Doernhoefer of Cape Girardeau, survive her.

Three sisters, Marie Statler of Cape Girardeau, Viola Twidwell of Farmington and Lewana Weiss of Columbia, also survive her.

Three brothers, Gene Hahs of Sedgewickville, Lindell Hahs of Sedgewickville and the Rev. Bill Hahs of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, also survive her.

Four grandchildren survive, Jim Brinkman, Debra Maxwell, Heather Doernhoefer and Nicholas Doernhoefer.

Three great grandchildren survive, Vanessa Petzoldt, David Maxwell and Cara Maxwell.

Two sisters, Lorene Higdon and Aline Clauser and one brother, Raymond Hahs, also preceded her in death.

She was employed at the International Shoe Company and Roziers.

She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, Lutheran Ladies Aid and the Berean Bible Class.

A funeral for 91-year-old Clodine A. Doernhoefer of Perryville was held Sunday, February 23rd at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. Burial was in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. The Rev. Matthew Marks officiated.

Memorials were preferred to the Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Funeral arrangements were by the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
