Donald D. Hager A funeral service will be held Friday, February 28th, 2003 for 87-year-old Donald D. Hager of Perryville, who died Tuesday, February 25th, 2003 at the Perry County Nursing Home. He was born November 28th, 1915 in Point Rest, the son of Jasper and Elizabeth (Cashion) Hager -- who both preceded him in death. He married Beatrice Horn on July 17th, 1938. She also preceded him in death. He is survived by three children and their spouses: Donald and Carole Hager of Uniontown; Judith and Marvin Detjen of Perryville and Sharon and Arlin Hadler of Perryville. A sister, Eileen Falcone of Buckner, also survives. Ten grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild also survive. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Nolan and Howard; a sister, Zella Brown; plus four half-brothers and three half-sisters. He was a farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church of Perryville. Visitation from 4-9 p.m. Thursday, February 27th and from 6:30-10 a.m. Friday, February 28th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A funeral service for Donald D. Hager will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 28th at the Young and Sons Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dennis Cebulak will officiate with burial in the Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery in Crosstown. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, the American Cancer Society or Southeast Hospice.
