Irene Lillian Feltz

A funeral will be held Tuesday, January 21st, 2003 for 83-year-old Irene Lillian Feltz of Perryville who died Friday, January 17th at the Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville.

She was born March 14th, 1919 in Colncurry, Australia, the daughter of Leslie John Creedon and Margaretta Catherine Sciarmella Creedon who both preceded her in death.

She married Dr. Lawrence W. Feltz, MD on February 14th, 1944 in Townsville, Australia. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by five sons and four daughters in law: Lawrence C. and Lisa Feltz of Houston, Texas; Jaye Patrick and Marcia Feltz of Bahama, North Carolina; Jeffrey L. and Dianne Feltz of St. Louis; Kim K. and Laura Feltz of St. Louis and Gabrielle L. Feltz of Wichita, Kansas.

She is also survived by five daughters and five sons in law: Kerry Lea and Tim O'Keefee of Atlanta, Georgia; Jan L. and Steve Redington of Pacific; Kay P. and Terry Miederhoff of Perryville; Renee L. and Dennis Welker of Parker, Colorado and Suzette M. and Dale Labuary of Monroe City.

Two sisters and brothers in law survive: Phyllis and Jim Hackett and Patricia and Dan Higgins, both of Brisbane, Australia.

One brother and two sisters in law survive: John L. and Carol Creeden of Towoomba, Australia and Sr. Dorothy Feltz, DC, of St. Louis.

Twenty-three grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive her.

One son, Timothy Shannon Feltz, also preceded her in death.

She had attended St. Patrick's College. She was an accomplished pianist, a loving mom and devoted wife.

She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. this (Monday, January 20th) evening and 6:30-11:20 a.m. Tuesday, January 21st at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish prayers will be at 7 this evening and the rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

A funeral for 83-year-old Irene Lillian Feltz of Perryville will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 21st, at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Fausz CM will officiate.
