Howard D. Hager

A funeral will be held Friday, January 31st, 2003 for 89-year-old Howard D. Hager of Perryville who died Tuesday, January 28th at the Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born November 1st, 1913 in Perry County, the son of Jasper and Elizabeth (Cashion) Hager who both preceded him in death.

He married Sylvia Farrar on January 23rd, 1937. She preceded him in death.

He is survived by three daughters and one son in law, Delores Streiler of Jackson; Darlene and Norman Hoehn of Perryville; and Betty Atkins of Chester, Illinois.

He is also survived by a son and daughter in law, Douglas and Cynthia Hager.

He is also survived by one brother, Donald Hager of Perryville and Eileen Falcone of Buckner.

Fourteen grandchildren, 20 greatgrandchildren, and one greatgreatgranddaughter.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Clifford, one daughter, Evelyn Hale, one brother, one sister, four half-brothers, five half-sisters, one grandson and one great great grandson.

He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Perryville.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Thursday, January 30th and 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 31st at the Young and Sons Funeral Home.

A funeral for 89-year-old Howard D. Hager of Perryville will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 31st, at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. Burial will be in the Home Cemetery. The Rev. Don Cox will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund in Perryville or The Baptist Home in Ironton.
