A funeral was held this morning, Monday, July 7th, 2003 for 67-year-old Joan C. Brown of Perryville, who died Thursday, July 3 at her home.

She was born March 13th, 1936 in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Salvatore Pena and Rosa Fantauzzo Pena, who survives in St. Louis.

She married Charles M. Brown on November 28th, 1964 in St. Louis. He survives in Perryville.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Nancy Emmendorfer of Perryville; one son, Mark C. Brown of Perryville; one sister, Marie Driver of St. Louis; and one brother, Jim Pena of St. Louis.

She was the vice president of Brown Ventures, Inc. and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

A funeral mass for 67-year-old Joan C. Brown of Perryville was held this morning, Monday, July 7th at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial was in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville. The Rev. Kevin P. Fausz, C.M., officiated.
