Jack Lee Ficker

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 10, 2003 for 62-year-old Jack Lee Ficker of Sedgewickville who died Monday, July 7 at St. Mary’s Hospital of East St. Louis, Ill.

He was born on Dec. 25, 1940 in Granite City, Ill., the son of the late Charles Bennet and Eileen (Bennet) Ficker, who survives in Granite City, Ill.

He was married to Joyce Lane on Dec. 30, 1965. She survives in Sedgewickville.

Two sons and two daughters survive, Kevin Ficker of Alton, Ill.; Lisa O’Dell of Edwardsville, Ill.; Jackie Lynn Schultz of Herrin, Ill.; and Charles Ficker of Perryville.

Two sisters survive, Shirley Large of Sedgewickville and Janet Lambiris of Kingston, Tenn.

Also surviving are five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

One grandson preceded him in death.

He was past owner/operator of JF Painting. He was a VFW Booster member and a longtime farmer.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 9 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, July 10 from 6:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Young and Sons Chapel.

Funeral service for Jack Lee Ficker will be held Thursday, July 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Young and Sons Chapel. Rev. James Brice will officiate. Burial will be in the Crossroads Methodist Cemetery in Bollinger County.

Memorial preference is to My Camp.
