Robert D. ‘Bob’ Fausz
He was born November 24th, 1932 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, the son of George N. Fausz Jr. and Imelda (Bievenue) Fausz. He married Angela Hennemann on July 28th, 1951 in Perryville. She survives in Perryville. He is also survived by two sons and one daughter in law, Edward and Kaye Fausz of Perryville and the Rev. Kevin Fausz C.M. of Perryville. Three daughters and sons in law survive: Brenda and Richard DeWilde, Jan and Scott Brown and Joy and Donny Best, all of Perryville. One sister, Aevon Deterding of Prairie du Rocher, also survives. Eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren survive. He was a heavy equipment operator and the owner and operator of Bob's Auto Service in Perryville. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, where he served as an usher. He was also a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus. Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 11th and 6:30-11:20 a.m. Wednesday, March 12th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish wake with the Knights of Columbus will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday and the Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A funeral mass for 70-year-old Robert D. "Bob" Fausz of Perryville will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 12th at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Fausz C.M. will officiate. Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Parish Endowment Fund or to the St. Vincent de Paul School Endowment Fund .
