William Russell Adams

A funeral was held this morning, March 24th, 2003 for 80-year-old William Russell Adams of Perryville who died Friday, March 21st at his residence.

He was born July 23rd, 1922 in Perryville, the son of William H. and Zeba Marie (Preston) Adams who both preceded him in death.

He married Ida P. Guyott on June 10th, 1945. She preceded him in death.

He is survived by three daughters and sons in law: Dianna and Edgar Lawrence, Deanna and David Sutterer Sr. and Donna and Ronald Allen, all of Perryville.

He is also survived by one brother, Adrian Adams and Ruth Hunt, both of Perryville.

He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and two great great granddaughters.

He was retired from International Shoe Company and was a painter.

He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville and was a former member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Lithium.

He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Albert, Andy, Clarence and George and a sister, Mabel Hunt.

A funeral for 80-year-old William Russell Adams of Perryville was held this morning, Monday, March 24th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. Burial will be in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Lithium. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate.
