Funeral service will be held Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003 for 86-year-old Ruth T. Berkbuegler of Perryville who died Tuesday, Nov. 4 at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born on Dec. 30, 1916 in Perry County, the daughter of the late Gilbert and Cecelia (Gibbar) Henderson.

She was married to Herbert Berkbuegler on Feb. 17, 1936. He preceded her in death on May 24, 1968.

Surviving are two daughters and one son: Elenore Braun of Carlock, Ill.; Lunette Erzfeld of Uniontown; and James Berkbuegler of Perryville.

One sister, Edna Horner, survives in Lawrenceburg, North Carolina.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, James and John Henderson, and two sisters, Opal Berkbigler and Marie Miget.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and worked for shoe factory for 35 years.

Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 6 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 6:30-9:30 a.m. at Young and Sons Chapel. Catholic wake service will be Thursday at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass for Ruth T. Berkbuegler will be held Friday, Nov. 7, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Bill Thess CM will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorial preference is to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church or school
