Funeral service will be held Monday, Oct. 13, 2003 for 98-year-old Leola Louise Buehler of Perryville who died Thursday, Oct. 9 at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born on Feb. 25, 1905 in Perryville, the daughter of Edward and Julia (Wilt) Chappius.

She was married to Sanford J. Buehler on Nov. 8, 1927. He preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 1959.

Surviving are two sons and one daughter: Jerry Buehler, Sally Modde and John Buehler, all of Perryville.

Also survivng are 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Immaculate Conception Ladies Sodality.

She was preceded in death by a grandson Jeff Buehler, and a great-grandson Jeff Broeker.

Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 12 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. and on Monday, Oct. 13 from 6:30-9:30 a.m. at Young and Sons Chapel. Parish wake service will be at 7:00 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral Mass for Leola Louise Buehler will be held Monday, Oct. 13, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Kevin Fausz CM will officiate. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.

Memorial preference is to Birthright or Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital
