A funeral will be held Sunday, October 26th, 2003 for 64-year-old Helen A. Chappius of Perryville who died today, Thursday, October 23rd, in Perryville.

She was born July 15th, 1939 in Perryville, the daughter of George and Lenora (Meyer) Bergman who both preceded her in death.

She married John J. Chappius on October 25th, 1958. He survives in Perryville.

Survivors also include: one son, Derek Chappius of Perryville.

She was a bookkeeper at Liberty Glass Company in Perryville and a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. She was also a member of the VFW, American Legion and AmVets auxiliaries, all in Perryville.

Visitation will be 3-9 p.m. Saturday, October 25th and 8-noon Sunday, October 26th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 64-year-old Helen A. Chappius of Perryville will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, October 26th at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Craig Otto will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran School, Hospice Care Inc. in Park Hills or the American Cancer Society.
