Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 5, 2003 for 23-year-old William A. Douglas of Perryville who died Monday, Sept. 1 in Perry County as the result of an auto accident. He was born on July 25, 1980 in Perryville, the son of Sterling Douglas and Gloria Horschman Douglas. His mother survives in Perryville. His father and stepmother, Sheryl Douglas, survive in Perryville. Also surviving are one son, Isaac Douglas of Perryville; two half brothers, Justin Douglas and James Douglas, both of Perryville; maternal grandmother Lorena Horschman of Perryville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Adam Horschman; paternal grandparents Patricia and Gordon Douglas; and one daughter, Shirley Ann Douglas. Mr. Douglas was a laborer working at several area factories. He was a 1999 graduate of Perryville High School. Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 4 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at the Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish wake service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, Sept. 5 from 6:30 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Funeral Mass for William A. Douglas of Perryville will be held Friday, Sept. 5, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Rev. William Thess will officiate. Burial will be in the Home Cemetery in Perryville. Memorials may be sent to family choice. |
