A funeral will be held Monday, December 6th, 2004 for 91-year-old Eugene E. Bohnert of Perryville, who died today, Friday, December 3rd, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 4th, 1913 in Longtown, the son of Andrew and Anna (Muench) Bohnert, who both preceded him in death.

He married Edith E. Cox on March 22, 1937. She preceded him in death last month.

Survivors include: three daughters and two sons in law, Earline and Elton Drury and Ruth and Doc Hadler, all of Perryville and Jeanie Lauer of Blue Springs; a son and daughter in law, Elmer and Earlene Bohnert of Perryville; 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Floyd; brother, Otto; two sisters, Sophia Mehner and Hilda Davis; and a great grandson, Dustin.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Sunday, December 5th and 6:30-8:30 a.m. Monday, December 6th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 91-year-old Eugene E. Bohnert of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 6th at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Christopher Cole will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Immanuel School Building Fund or radio broadcast.
