Meta Brueckner A funeral was held today, Monday, December 27th, 2004, for 91-year-old Meta Brueckner of St. Peters, formerly of Crosstown, who died Thursday, December 20th at Lutheran Senior Services at Breeze Park in St. Peters. She was born August 20th, 1913 in Perry County, the daughter of William and Hedwig (Buettner) Muench, who both preceded her in death. She married Marvin H. Brueckner on April 25th, 1937. He preceded her in death. Survivors include: two sons, Raymond Brueckner of St. Charles and Homer Brueckner of Frisco, Texas; one daughter, Doris Brueckner of Sikeston; a sister, Thelma Schmidt of Altenburg; six grandchildren and 14 grandchildren. Three brothers, Arthur, Walter and Alfred Muench and a sister, Flora Schulter, also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid and Quilting Club in Crosstown. A funeral for 91-year-old Meta Brueckner of St. Peters, formerly of Crosstown, was held at 11 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Michael Meraz officiated. Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown. The Young and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements. |
