A funeral will be held Friday, July 9th, 2004 for 101-year-old Edna L. Boswell, formerly of Perryville, who died Tuesday, July 6th at the Lawrence County Manor in Mt. Vernon.

She was born January 4th, 1903 in Bollinger County, the daughter of John L. and Anna M. (Oster) Miller, who both preceded her in death.

She married Wesley R. Boswell on April 22nd, 1923. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include: three grandchildren, Jeff Colley of Ash Grave, Karla Cryer Colley of Mt. Vernon and Scott "Alexx" Colley of Springfield; five great grandchildren, Brandon, Rachel, Lindsey, Tyler and Jessica Colley and two nieces, Sharon Bodenschatz and Carol Miller.

A son, Bobby Boswell; a daughter, Rhoda Colley; two brothers, Grant and Cecil Miller and a sister, Lillian Wagner, also preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and former member of the Whitewater Presbyterian Church.

Visitation will be this (Thursday, July 8th) evening from 6-8 and Friday, July 9th from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 101-year-old Edna L. Boswell, formerly of Perryville, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 9th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. Burial will be in the Whitewater Presbyterian Cemetery in Lixville. The Rev. Donald Blaylock will officiate.
