A funeral will be held Wednesday, July 14th, 2004 for 80-year-old Loretta A. Hoffman of Perryville, who died today (Monday, July 12^th) at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born August 26^th, 1923 in Belgique, the daughter of Oscar Buerck and Gertrude (Hogard) Buerck, who both preceded her in death.

She married Thomas E. Hoffman on August 31^st, 1946. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons; Gary Hoffman of Cape Girardeau and Kevin Hoffman of St. Louis; and a daughter, Donna Fischer, of St. Peters; and three brothers, Marion Buerck of Perryville, Earl Buerck of Cape Girardeau, and Leon Buerck of Ohio; 7 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, and Ladies’ Sodality.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 13th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville, with Parish prayers at 6 p.m. Visitation continues Wednesday, July 14^th, from 6:30-9:50 a.m.

A funeral for Loretta A. Hoffman of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 14th at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mount Hope cemetery. The Reverend Kevin P. Fausz, C.M., will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul school system.
