Funeral service will be held Monday, Mar. 22, 2004 for 83-year-old Juanita Bohnert who died Thursday, Mar. 18 at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born on Nov. 1, 1920 in Perry County, the daughter of the late Frank D. and Ada Pearl Dunn Martin.

She was married to Isadore I. Bohnert on Dec. 4, 1938. He survives in Perryville.

Two sons and one daughter survive: Larry Bohnert of St. Louis; Terry Bohnert of Omaha, Neb.; and Susan Winkler of Cape Girardeau.

One brother, Earl Martin, survives in Perryville.

Also surviving are six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

One sister and one brother preceded her in death.

Mrs. Bohnert worked in Central Supply at Perry County Memorial Hospital, and also worked in the poultry and egg business with her husband for 44 years.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Visitation will from 4:00-9:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 21 at the Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish wake at 7:00 p.m. visitation will continue on Monday, March 22 from 6:30-8:50 a.m. the rosary will be recited at 8:15 a.m.

Funeral Mass for Juanita Bohnert will be held Monday, March 22, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic church. Rev. Kevin Fausz C.M. will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Hope cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to St. Vincent de Paul or Alzheimer’s Association.
