A funeral will be held Friday, March 19th, 2004 for 77-year-old Betty R. Brotherton of Perryville who died Wednesday, March 17th at Perry Oaks Manor in Perryville.

She was born March 21st, 1926 in Lilbourn, the daughter of John Wesley and Norma Lee (Jenkins) Howard, who both preceded her in death.

She married Luther Brotherton on April 20, 1946. He survives in Perryville.

Survivors also include: one son and daughter in law, Gary and Trish Brotherton of Patton; three granddaughters, Kristie Miller, Nicole Miinch and Cara Brotherton, all of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Flossie Laster of the state of California, Loretta Masters of Marble Hill, and Verna Lawrence of Perryville and two brothers, Leroy Howard of Farmington and Bill Howard of Perryville.

She was a factory worker and member of the First Baptist Church.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. this (Thursday, March 18th), evening and 6:30-10 a.m. tomorrow (Friday, March 19th) at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 77-year-old Betty R. Brotherton of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow, (Friday, March 19th) at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Burial will be in the Post Oak Cemetery in Bollinger County. The Rev. Don Estes will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Parkinson's Disease Research Foundation.
