Opal V. Herschback A private funeral was held Sunday, March 28th, 2004 for 90-year-old Opal V. Herschback of Perryville who died Friday, March 26th at Perry Oaks Manor in Perryville. She was born March 27th, 1913 in Longtown, the daughter of George and Pauline (Shade) Wirth, who both preceded her in death. She married Albert E. Herschback on November 29th, 1934. He preceded her in death. Survivors include: One daughter and son in law, Kathlee and Vernon Weinrich of Perryville; three grandchildren: Vicki King, Kenneth Weinrich and Sandra Bert; seven grandchildren: Christopher, Bridgette and Ryan Buchheit, Abigail Weinrich and Bryan, Lauren and Brandon Bert and five great great grandchildren: Connor, Mallory, Paige, Bryce and Mitchell. Four brothers, Martin, Hugo, William and Rubin Wirth and a sister, Elsa Mehner, also preceded her in death. She was a retired physical therapist's aide and member of Zion Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid and Quilting Club. A private funeral was held Sunday, March 28th, 2004 for 90-year-old Opal V. Herschback of Perryville. Burial was in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Longtown. The Rev. Paul Winningham officiated. Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. |
